Genuine rust free California car with one repaint in the 90's. Original color is Turbo Silver Metallic with black vinyl reclining seats. The original 290 CID engine with 4 BBL. carb runs absolutely excellent. Original Borg-Warner 4 speed with stock shifter works perfectly and the car is also equipped with PS and manual drum brakes. Air conditioning is running 134 freon and has a new condensor installed. This car is original but for the carburetor which has been replaced with a new Holley carb. A new aluminum radiator was just installed and the original is in the trunk with the small serva-spare tire. New tires were just installed on the magnum 500 style wheels and a brake job was just recently completed. Interior is black and seats and headliner are original and very nice condition. New carpet was recently installed. this is a nice car and one of 6725 built in 1968, NADA Classic Car price guide lists this car in average condition at $25,300 and this car is well above the average AMX, The body is perfectly straight and has never been repaired. The 225HP 290 pushes the 3100# car very well. This is a lot of fun to drive.
